From directly west and south of New York City (through New Jersey): Enter New York City either by the Holland or the Lincoln tunnel. Follow the signs to the West Side Highway (or West Street or 12th Avenue—they are all the same) heading uptown. This actually turns into a highway at 59th Street. Take the 125th Street exit but turn right at the first opportunity (St. Clair Place), then an immediate right onto Riverside Drive. Bear left at the fork and drive south a few blocks to the Church.

By New York City mass transit either subway or bus (then click on the borough map you need), you must connect to a line that goes near 121st Street on the upper west side of Manhattan. The best subway is the 116th Street station on the #1 line (though the 125th Street station on the A, C, B or D lines is a walkable distance) or the M4, M5, M104, or Bx15 buses to the closest stop to either 120th or 122nd Street. Riverside Church’s address is 490 Riverside Drive. The M5 and Bx15 buses actually go to Riverside Drive; with the other buses or subway, you will have to exit, walk west to Riverside Drive, and then walk to 490 Riverside and the church entrance.
