A Benediction

A PARTING CALL FOR ACTION TO END THE NUCLEAR AGE

Benediction

Friends,

Remember the life and love you have been imbued with from your creator.

Remember the loss and tragedy that has come before and remains present today.

BUT Go Forth, remembering the hope of peace and the reality of love that has the power to transform us all and the world around us.

Prepared for use as part of the Interfaith Convocation of the NPT Review Conference, Rally, March and Festival May 2nd, 2010, by Preston Davis, Union Theological Seminary and FOR.

I think it’s a beautiful benediction – inclusive, yet also powerful.
May it comfort, illuminate and inspire.
